  • Protects saved OAuth credentials with Windows DPAPI
  • Processes messages in the local app; bodies and OTPs are not stored in the Account Vault

The Web V1 is planned as an owner-only service. This G1 release contains only these public information and privacy pages.

  • No public signup
  • No Web sign-in or mailbox APIs
  • No saved accounts, OAuth callbacks, or mail/OTP processing

Web features will require separate security, privacy, and provider-compliance review.

MossMail is designed to help its owner find recent verification messages from services they use. It is not a public signup product, bulk inbox service, or mailbox export tool.

OTP extraction is a convenience, not an authentication service. Always verify the sender and the sign-in request before using a code.
